Yeah the lack of good 300dpi high resolution artwork that I would have wanted on my stick is what pushed me towards pixel art.

You can find something you love from an old game, screenshot it with an emulator, then scale it without any filters. This guy is the 1st boss of R-Type, and it's scaled up 10x.

Usually you just print the artwork as-is, but I decided to get it laser etched for a nice custom look.
