They're just different, RE is more action based, the first one was more methodical. I love them both, but I slightly prefer Rampage. I've heard several people say they didn't like it though. To each their own I guess.

Jurassic Park Genesis is a good example of this. I would be tempted to say the Raptor is clearly the best since I've only ever done one run as Grant in each game and always play the raptor otherwise. But it could well be that the human rout is easier. Who cares though.

Give me another fucking Jurassic Park game where I can gut humans as a motherfucking raptor again. If nothing else it should get remade for being one of the few games with a transgendered main character.

The problem is that what one person thinks is shit isn't necessarily what someone else is going to think is shit. I know people who insist Parasite Eve 2 was awful, and others who say it's great. Exact same with PS3. And ditto again with FF Tactics and the Tactics Advance games.

There are people who consider the first Jurassic Park on Genesis fantastic but think Rampage Edition is shit because they changed the art style. Personally I love both and like the RE style slightly more.

It's all just opinions in the end. They're always going to vary.

I do think it's hilarious though that he hates young people and loudly declares how much he doesn't give a shit about their opinions yet spends his time on a website almost entirely populated by them.

And again, it's not that Call of Duty didn't exist before 7th gen. It's that it was in 7th gen that it became the megalith that it is and a lot of the industry started focusing on FPS games.

Of course I think the people who complain about that are just as stupid as you are. I've been obsessed with games almost my whole life, but very rarely are the ones I'm into the big popular franchises of the day.

I've still never bothered to play through Super Mario World because the series never interested me a ton. But despite that, I still found countless games over the years to love.

And if anything, despite people bitching about CoD (another game and genre I don't give a fuck about) I think the game industry is actually overall better now than it ever has been.

So you can stay mad and embittered all you like, I'll be over here loving the fuck out of video games. And with that, I'm going to go run around as a raptor gutting humans!

Jurassic Park and Rampage Edition on Genesis are both fantastic.

Super Star Wars, Super Empire and Super Return are all pretty solid as well.

I've seen a bunch of people around here say they thing the Genesis Jurassic Park games are shit, but I always loved the hell out of them.

It's funny, I too started with the Genesis and loved it. Then I also got a Super Nintendo, I think for Mario Paint of all things originally. I got Super Star Wars and was obsessed with it, and borrowed the big RPGs of the day from my friends. But in the end I had somewhere around 50 Genesis games and only 5-6 SNES ones. Something about Genesis games has just always appealed to me more. Maybe it is the speed and frantic nature of a lot of them.
