KV-27TS32

Curved Trinitron so you won't have to worry about the geometry quirks of the FD Trinitrons. Has:
1 S-Video/Composite Input
2 Composite Inputs(1 front, 1 back)
1 Video Out
and a separate Stereo audio out

KV-36XBR200
FD Tubes can have geometry problems, but is newer and a higher end set, so it's liable to have a sharper picture.
Has(Pic related):
2 S-Video/Composite Inputs(1 front, 1 back)
1 Composite Input
1 Component "YPbPr" Input (NOT 480p+)
2 Video Outs
and a separate Stereo audio out

27'' would be more manageable, but the 36'' has more useful inputs and possibly a better picture.
Best you'll be able to use without modding/transcoder for each system is:
Genesis - Composite
SNES - S-Video
N64 - S-Video
Gamecube - S-Video

$50 seems a bit high for either of them, but the 36'' would be more worth that amount. I'd try to talk them down a bit no matter which one you end up going with though. Definitely bring something along to test them if you're paying a decent amount like that. Either a system with 240p Test Suite (Wii, various systems via flashcarts) or a game you know very well that you'd be able to notice oddities in the picture easily.
