fyi this is the latest RetroArch with run ahead ("cutting edge anti input lag technology") on a Poco X3, which has a relatively fast 120hz screen. It's connected to the 8bitdo SN30 pro, a popular Bluetooth controller that's not exactly cheap.
Yet even fucking Gameboy games struggle with insane input lag.

I dont think this has ever been tested. 2.4ghz wireless, used in most modern gaming mice, doesn't have significant spikes (despite being on the same frequency as WiFi), and even if there were any, they would probably only add a few ms.

What I'm trying to say here is that I completed Rhythm Tengoku on Retroarch (Linux, mgba, run ahead 1 frame) and I did not notice spikes or delay, even during the controller test in the very beginning.
