Konami had the better jingle to go with their logo.

Capcom had the most success probably with the absolute monster in Street Fighter 2.

Castlevania has the highest quality bewteen franchises in both companies(strictly talking inside the /vr/ timeline).

What other major points am I missing here?

Here's my favorite .webm ever.

Tried to burn an iso of the game after putting it off for months after I bought a SEGA CD for cheap.

Turned out the SEGA CD wouldn't work. The little belt that opens the disc tray was fucked and would stay open(someone left a copy of Lethal Enforcers in there so woo free shitty game I guess) so I soaked it in warm water, and put it back in place, temp fix while I order a replacement.

Burn the game on some extra cd's I had lying in the house. My disc drive's lowest write speed is 8.8x. The CD's are from dollar tree, Phillips.

The game can run but there is insane loading times. Sometimes the game only runs the audio.

What should I do, buy some Taiyo Yuden's or give up if my laptop's disc drive can only write as slow as 8.8x? I know the SEGA CD(Mine is a model 1) reads discs at a 1x read speed.

It runs the legit copy of Lethal Enforcers pretty fast with almost nonexistent load times and I tried a CD and it played the tracks normally so I think it's safe to say the disc drive is fine.
