I feel like Alys is more stereotypically feminine with respect to attitudes in PSG1 compared to the original game, where she basically… was portrayed as more competent/sure of herself.
Not that that's a good thing or a bad thing (and I definitely don't want to turn it into a feminism argument), but she definitely seemed more self-assured in the original for better or worse.

PS 1 was such a comfy little RPG. Definitely worth a play.

The first one. I liked the 70s sci-fi style it had and the first person mazes were neat, even if they were a pain in the ass. The colors and animations in battle are still very impressive and leagues better than what NES was putting out at the same time. PS1 almost felt like a SNES game sometimes.
