For me it was mostly the ending:
So lemme get this straight - Because of this Conservation of Karma or whatever you're springing on me all of a sudden, all the evil shit that happened since I showed up in Ultima 4 is the consequence of the good stuff I did since then. Shadowlords, Gargish invasions, The Guardian, Chuckles' unusually long lifespan. All my fault.
So, instead of slogging through poisonous marshes, getting my skin burnt off by dragon fire, and genociding other species by accident, I could have been tossing back mugs of ale with Dupre and Iolo at the Blue Boar this whole time?
That's right, Avatar, YOU were the bad guy all along LOL!
