/vr/ - Retro Games

Here's an issue I've been on both sides of and would like to know /vr/'s opinion.

When you are not playing your beloved top-loading retro console and it's just out for display (we'll use SNES in this case) do you leave a game and controller plugged into it like the PAL on the left, or no cart and no controller like NTSC on the right?

I personally think the look on the left is more inviting and "hey I'm ready to play!" but the look on the right is more sophisticated and works well if you like to keep your stuff organized.

So how do you display your console /vr/?
