/vr/ - Retro Games

So, I'm under the impression 1 is so so, but 2,3,4 are awesome. That fair?

I played 4 back in the day and quite enjoyed it, but recently have had a bit of an obsession to replay good games and get 100% (have played through yoshi's island, Spyro trilogy, the DKC trilogy and many other games in the same way over the last 6 months which has been awesome).

I understand that 4 has an extra difficulty unlock too after completion, so I want to try and get 100% on S-Hard.

I have never tried Wario Land 1 - 3 though, so I might as well do the whole quadrology 100%.

How do the previous games hold up, can they be 100%ed and is there any advice you can give going in?
