SW has a FUCKTON of awesome effects, most of which are used only once in the entire game.
IIRC i even stumbled on an effect that wasn't even used in the entire game.

Plus, you have a lot of freedom in how to use and combine those effects.

The downside is that, the more freedom you have, the harder it is to get into. Part of why SW has so few usermaps.

But I can tell you, the possibilities of SW mapping have never even been SCRATCHED and probably never will.

I made this map not long ago if you're interested. works in any version of the game, but in DOSbox the main outdoor area can drop framerate, though I still recommend playing in DOSbox.

I use the RL a lot but it's not my main weapon. Its explosion radius is very small (which means that no, it shouldn't be a problem to use it even in most indoor places) and enemies can dodge the rockets easily by sidestepping.

Works in (DOS)box, SWP and Redux. DOSbox is the most recommended but you might get a framerate drop in the main outdoor area of the map.
