What's goodie, /vr/. I have 4 days off from work coming up and I've decided to tick off a small corner of my backlog and try to beat as many Game Boy shmups as I can in those four days.

On the docket are:
SolarStriker
Mercenary Force
Nemesis
Gradius: The Interstellar Assault
Chikyuu Kouhai Gun ZAS

I might play Project S-11 for the music, but I've heard it's a mediocre shmup, convince me otherwise.

I'll update this thread with my thoughts on each game, but also feel free to discuss and recommend me some other obscure shmups for GB/GBC that I might have missed that are worth my time. I'm mostly only interested in original games though, so arcade conversions and ports don't interest me as such, but feel free to talk about them here.
