The ordered dither creates a virtually expanded colorspace that simulates more than 4 shades to the human eye, so no, I never intentionally turn it off as I want to capture as much detail as possible.

I can see it working with abstract shapes like this lampshade or if you had some other clear, artistic vision in mind. It certainly has its uses, I just never happened upon them.

Sure, go ahead! The basic texture of the filter is a bit lackluster and I like the reflective grain of the original LCD. Not sure if I can replace it, but I'll try.

Another thing that might help with calibrating filters would be a set of 4 thick, horizontal bars, one in each shade (just use the paint dialogue), to get the shades and contrast right. Not sure how the contrast adjustment dial affects them, though. Also I wouldn't doctor the colours in this one.

These are pretty good, by the way. Architecture is always an interesting subject and is easily recognizable even in the gbpc's low resolution.
