It is not so bad to be trans in Russia. Changing your legal name and gender is difficult, but hormones are easier to purchase than countries of the West. (They are over the counter.) Moscow has transgender clinics. To be charged with 'homosexual propaganda' you need to offend the government. Russian Doom should be OK.
