This is probably about 9 years ago at this point to the details are fuzzy, but here I go.

One morning I woke up and immediately turned on my N64, itching to play some Zelda. At this point I'd already beaten the game many times before. The file I started was young Link in the well under Kakariko Village, which is creepy to begin with. But as I progressed through the well, I would hear this blaring deep noise that would cut in out of nowhere and then disappear as quickly as it came. It cropped up maybe two times before the third time, where the game screen went completely green with Link's model dropping through the floor and falling while the noise blared. I freaked out, jumped up, and shut off the console. Didn't play any more that week.
