No I think ill just focus on using the Plasma Rifle and Machinegun as much as possible and practically ignore all the other weapons, because plasma cells grow on trees and between the two weapons id never run out of ammo.

And practically cant use shotgun shells that you've got saved up. Its like tossing a handful of sand.

Silent Hill was only partially scary, mostly the parts that make you run because you absolutely cant stand your ground (after the twinfeeler battle, running on the catwalks above the darkness... or just before the lighthouse, all those fucking dogs).

Resident Evil 1 and 2 are pretty damn scary in terms of how close you have to cut it though, just how close it forces your face against the grinding wheel.

And playing as Claire in Res2 is pretty goddamn harsh. No shotgun... AND she has to deal with Mister.X along with the hardest boss battle in that game.

Its scary because shit will literally jump out from a corner and fuck your ass up without a warning sometimes. And you dont want to use your best resources on it because you're hoping to use that on something else later on. Makes you use your magnum rounds because if you dont you're going to blow through a bunch of health items.
And boss battles where its right there presented fully without any skulking, and your ass is still going to be limping before the battle is half over because of the tank controls no matter what you do.
