that might explain why I never had problems with it.
I think I already had my athlon 1333mhz when I installed me.
tried xp and it was a pos at the time, nothing worked and the little thing that did, worked worse than 98, but I loved the qol additions it had.
stupid things like being able to expand the control panel from the start menu made me try me. It was a nice stopgap between 98 and xp.
2000 was a server/enterprise os as fas as I knew at the time, so I never grabbed a copy to even try it.
