Because they knew they were making a video game and so naturally they assumed no one would care enough to have a problem with it.

Yeah...

Right, because the wave beam is found further down than the icy beams, making you think it'd be the gun you're supposed to get later in the game. And I actually prefer it, although it did make the game ridiculously slow at some points, also making it ridiculously easy.

I know people commonly say this game is too hard, but I think it's almost too easy at times. I did not expect to see that much lag fighting the bosses. And in the tougher rooms of the game, with more enemies, it's like you're playing in slow mo so you have time to plan out every move. I beat Kraid and Ridley on my FIRST try, ever.

Granted I used a map for this the whole time. Looking at the map is what made me wanna launch up the game again and actually try to beat it, after seeing just how ridiculously vast it was for an NES game. I was in disbelief.

Anyway I get what people mean about starting out with 30 health, but what I did to easily combat that was go and find an energy tank, which was actually a lot of fun compared to grinding. Granted, I know that not everyone that played this had access to the map. So I can understand that.

Tbh, whenever I either move, or decide to get rid of the Trinitron, I'm gonna just hire some fucking movers to bring it downstairs. Not gonna tax my dad's back again like the first time...

Is there a mod for Doom 3 BFG edition that makes the shotgun not a piece of shit? I know there are some for the original Doom 3 but I'm not sure they will work with BFG Edition.
