Honestly the Yellow sprite looks generic and borderline bad drawn. Green sprite is uncanny but has more personality.
Best one is Blue, though.

What's more soulful than a legitimatel Nintendo event Mew? A legitimate Nintendo event Mew on an OG DMG screen, of course!

Once I upgraded to GBC in 1999, I could never go back to the brick.
But now, after all these years, I'm finding myself enjoying the fuck out of the OG brick. I guess my bigger hands feel more comfortable with it, and the green DMG screen just makes me rock hard.

I mean, if I want, I can play GB games on GB Pocket, Color, or the Super Game Boy. But yeah sometimes it's nice to play on the OG green DMG screen. Once you got the right lighting and adjust the contrast, it's pretty neat. Holding the OG Game Boy is pretty comfortable to me, too.

A lot of charm and soul, I love green DMGs in general. Be it Game Boy, synthesizers, modulars, etc.

If you're semi-serious about collecting Game Boy, you will probably want at least 1 version of each iteration: GB, GBP, GBC (optional -and recommended- Super Game Boy or SGB2 for SFC).
As much as I like the QoL improvements in the screens of GBP and GBC, I must say the OG Game Boy green DMG screen still has a lot of soul that can't be replicated. GBP is very close (and also very nice to look at) but not quite the same. The particular way pixels look on the green DMG is not replicated elsewhere.

I used to hate the OG GB screen, and when I moved to GBC; I didn't want to ever go back.
...but you know what? lately I've come to really appreciate that comfy ass DMG green screen and love playing on it.
Contrast isn't much of an issue if you find the right spot and use the contrast adjust properly.

That's Mewtwo's best sprite I think. Also, Mew's best sprite is also the Red/Blue one.
It really looks like it's a special dude, on Yellow he looks generic. I like the Green version of Mew though, looks really unsettling but it also looks special.
