The way several people complained about it was exaggerated but understandable.
Imagine memes non-stop about cutesy crossovers with Animal Crossing,only to have the usual ones making tons of lewds of Isabelle regardless and on top of all this it's hidden in a mod too.

People whine about bronies years ago about Animal Crossing fans are as horny and get a pass,for some reason.
