Went to a charity thrift store this week. Found some pretty good stuff.

I found two Xbox S controllers missing their breakaway cables-- one was black, and the other was blue. I washed all the plastic parts and replaced the crappy worn-down sticks on the blue one with some extras I had left over from my modded wireless 360 controller. Found some replacement breakaway cables on Ebay for $1 each. I paid about $3 for each of them, so with the replacement parts + shipping I will have spent about $4.50 on each controller. Not too shabby. I don't own an Xbox, so I will either hold onto these for a while and flip them, or I will use them when I eventually start collecting Xbox stuff. I suppose I'll at least need to find an Xbox to test them on if I decide to sell them.

I also found a PS3 Rock Band guitar for $3 that came with the receiver-- usually those are missing. Only thing wrong with it as far as I can tell is that it's dirty and the whammy bar spring doesn't seem to be in place. Like the Xbox controllers, I will give all the plastic a washing and try to fix that whammy bar. I'll likely use it for a while and then flip if once I find a Rock Band 2 guitar at a decent price, since those ones are better.

I also found a copy of Grand Turismo for PSX that's in good shape. I'll likely keep it for my collection since I don't have a lot of PSX games yet.

Lastly I bought a new Dualshock 2 from the used game shop. Nothing special, but it's translucent and in good shape.
