What a weird coincidence, last night I also finished my first original file from when I was a kid. I had already finished it as a teen on a different file though, so I'm jelly that you got to experience it for the first time now.
And I couldn't make it up to the eagle's temple as a kid, I was stuck right before the Face shrine.
(english isn't my first language, so I had problems understanding where to go sometimes.)
