Call up recycle centers saying youre an artist making an installation piece and say you'll pay for scrap. Typically thats where the best crt monitors are left. Pic related is a cctv I picked up for 4 bucks there that I restored. If they've been there a while, don't worry about it. Mine had moss growing on it and it worked perfectly. Also they dont charge by the value but by the weight. 30 pounds was only 4 bucks.
