Oh, my decision had nothing to do with picking the most technically superior version. I would have just emulated the Dreamcast port if that was the case.

I was just really interested in how the technical limitations of the PSX would shape the experience, and I also dig the gritty pixels and dithered aesthetic. The dynamic music is also nice to have as well. I also wanted to try experiencing it the same way most people played it back in the day, chunky pixels and all.
