its probably fucked because of your DB. You should have a cron script that dumps the DB into an in memory solution. 50k users a day doing queries on your DB is insane.

separate the webserver from your content server if it isn't already

stop logging these! What happens if Nintendos lawyers asks for logs? or worse, they hire someone to enter your personal server and get the info that way.

suggestion:
encourage people to use http://retroshare.us/
This would help relieve your burden as well as keep nintedo off your ass

better language search tools. For example, if I want to play Final Fantasy in Chinese, it would be nice to search that way.
