The game is not hard, it is insufferable due to the dogshit slowdown. You get slowdown from the first fuckin zombie that pops out of the ground.
Play the SA-X romhack or the Saturn version.
Or better yet, play the only good Makaimura game, pic related. Absolute masterpiece. The rest fuckin suck

This is the only game that made me jealous of Sega owners as a kid. This port is so much better than SGnG, and doest get the 5fps slowdown within 10 seconds of gameplay that the SGnG gets. Definitely the best game in the series
