This is a really lame attempt at trolling, you just kind of come across like a bitch because you just won't admit that 3D wasn't always considered retro. I can at least give you a date of 18th March 2013 as an example of 5th gen not being considered retro from a source I'm certain you will find reputable. Sure this is well after 5 minutes after 3D gaming was a thing, but I'm sure you'll also agree that if it wasn't considered retro in 2013, it wasn't in 1999 (praised be that year) either.

Poor logic, many consoles that get discussed here have more advance graphics than the OG Gameboy. It's a pocket SNES.

Actually no, if you look in the archives the very first version of the sticky explicitly said 5th gen was not allowed despite the cut off date being 1999 (intended to allow 4th gen games released in the late 90s to be discusses) and on the first day of /vr/ there was a lot of posts from 5th gen babbies crying that if the rule says 1999 then their 3D modern consoles must be retro. And rather than just rewriting the rules to be more succinct that 4th gen was the cut off, moot just gave in and allowed 5th gen.
