>OP here, just to make it clear...the developer is a good friend of mine and he showed me his work. After that I shared it here and sent him the thread. So cut the crap with the samefag shit.
>I am not the OP but I have spent thousands of hours of my free time making indie games I release for free on itch.io. They look the way they do because I like the look, because it is conducive to communicating my ideas, and because learning C#, how to draw, how to model, how to compose music, etc. is so time intensive that I don't have the time to become a pixel artist who can put stuff out that looks as good as Metal Slug, or a 3D modeller that can produce things as good as a AAA title. I think you are a bad person, and someone who doesn't make things. It's easy to think the Internet is a separate place than the real world and "isn't real", but I want you to imagine what a piece of shit you'd have to be to go into an art class of people struggling to learn and who share their creations hoping it would mean something to someone and then call them lazy. You might think you're not that shitty of a person for doing the same online so it doesn't count, but my work only happens to be online, it doesn't have the benefit of existing physically like a painting or pottery or whatever, and so consequently it gets evaluated online and treated differently because people act differently online. I'm not interested in having a discussion with you, I have very thick skin from putting things into the world and reading comments afterwards, I just want you to reflect on why you are this way, to maybe realize you aren't someone a person should be proud of being.
