I'm with you

I like the graphics in Sonic 1 before they got too bright and cartoony

Sonic 1 had a donkey-kong-country type thing going where the graphics looked 3d on a 2d plane, it's hard to explain

Meanwhile sonic 2 and 3 and sonic and knuckles just went all out cartoony with bright colors

Not saying either style is better, just saying I prefer Sonic 1

Also this doesn't mean I don't enjoy the other 2d games
