Yeah, that's the split rocket from Dissvolerberation of Eternity. Rocket jumping with it is suicide unless you've got yellow/red armor but you get so much ammo for it even on hard/Nightmare it's perfectly reasonable to use it as your main weapon once you get it (or the MIRVs if you want to have fun with triggered enemies).

Not quite as fun as Armagon's proximity grenades, but splattering everything with the quad rockets is good enough.
