The cartridge? It's a Samurai Zombie Nation pirate cart. Those usually have terrible labels with custom art that almost never matches the contents of the game inside, but in this case the art is surprisingly accurate.

And this being a pirate game thread, I figured it was relevant enough

The artwork for Zombie Nation is surprisingly good. I couldn't have put it better myself.

Entire teams. The reason why so many of them were poorly made can be owed to the fact that they had very little documentation on how the NES worked. Everything they knew they learned by taking apart games and looking at their code. There's even Chinese NES development docs nowadays, but they're still very poorly made.

I wonder if I could take a sweatshop of Chinese programmers and have them design a good game.
