it'd cost you around $100 to get a PSP in good shape, you'd be better of just buying a Retroid 2S for that kinda money, especially considering that PSP maxes out at SNES emulation (and not even great at it since the audio's real shit when you try it).

If you have a psp or vita sitting around it's not bad in a pinch, but it's not worth going out of your way to buy one just for emulation.

Sorry people are being shitters on here. For a genuine answer, yes PSX games are designed to be dpad accesible, but there's a good reason sony quickly made dualshocks the standard PS1 controller. Dpad's just aren't comfortable for games expecting 360 degrees of movement. That said, since you got a Miyoo, it sounds like you aren't trying to go for super heavy end emulation. I'd say, unless you care about gamecube and PS2, just do the Pocket 2S with a grip
