I know, in my defense I was just hopeful for an actual legit digital retro library. Alas, it's my loss and it's seared into my brain. Haven't given those fucks money in years.

This is the most depressing thing. 95% of people will quite happily eat that shit up regardless of anything Nintendo or any other company for that matter, does to them. I already see the whole Switch Virtual Console going the same way as the Wii with bringing only 20 NES games but hey, at least you can play Super Mario Bros. online!
