Picked up a junk Mega-CD 2 for a good price.
Managed to get it working by replacing the fuse it plays games fine but loading times are extremely long and it really struggles with FMV sequences, skipping and freezing frequently.
What is the next logical step here? Recapping or replacing the laser? Does anyone have experience with Chinese replacement lasers, I've heard they're very hit and miss.
Picrel is the board, maybe you can notice something else wrong?
