One complain I have about Marathon is that strafing is pretty slow. I don't know why but you're faster moving forward and backwards than moving sideways.
Also:
>Be on low health
>About to finish the level
>Haven't saved since the previous level because I fucking hate going back and forth to save
>See terminal
>Door fucking closes on me and kills me ala Duke3D
>All the way back to previous level
