This isn't my main setup, just a consumer set I've been working on an rgb mod for. Overscan isn't adjusted correctly and the whole image needs to shift to the right, but this really highlights the part I'm talking about. It's not just screen geometry either, it's something with the picture output because it's on multiple displays. The set is way to bright now too, but I'm waiting for some trim pots and some switches to come in the mail to dial it in.

It's only on the genesis. I believe it is using composite video for sync with nothing in that line if I'm remembering correctly. It's whatever sync the genesis puts out without mods. It's using the pinout here (second one down): http://members.optusnet.com.au/eviltim/gamescart/gamescart.htm

I do have a few LM1881 chips as I've used them in some other adapters I've made. I'm getting ready for bed, but I thought of a super easy test to try the sync stripper. I have female scart to bnc for my pvm, made several, I believe one doesn't have a sync stripper in it, but most do. I'll try both and shrink the picture so I can see the overscan area and see if it goes away. I'll try to post in the morning with results.
