Not trying to shit on the punch bowl but I've noticed most "what fictional character are you" threads are a good example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. I say that because a lot of people on them usually relate to "dark" edgy characters but most of those same people on the net (usually lolcows) do the same while being unaware of how dorky or autistic they come off as IRL.

Just look at your average deviantart "artist" or repressed/potential school shooter from the myspace emo era. Not the kind of guys or girls who'd make cool vidya or animu protags yet they see themselves as "super-cool" and handsome or pretty "rebuhls" who misunderstood (or "feared" as they think) by those sheeples and plebs and their parents

It's basically how the "fedora" edgelord meme started. Sorry I went off on a tangent there but I just had to get it off my chest.

How soon until we reach the point where NES nostalgia and "Retro gaming" dies off or wanes? Or will it just keep going like Classic Rock?

Hey /vr/,

When I was younger I missed out a ton of vidya because I purely played Nintendo games with Sonic and X-Men on the side. Since it seems like I missed out on a ton of amazing vidya, I would like to ask this question. What are some good fast paced snes, genesis, PSX and/or N64 games that span from classics to underrated gems? Oh and if you have a wiki that I could go, to you may redirect me if you don't feel like listing some games.
