I don't hate the idea, especially ones like the Mesen Zelda and Mega Man packs that manage to keep a consistent art style. It reminds me of stuff like Super Mario All-Stars. But I can't stand shit like slapping hi-def textures onto early 3D, low poly games, it always looks worse.

The one thing that I will remember the most is that this game was used as a 'soft launch' title for the Super GameBoy. As it was the first to take full advantage of the SGB features, with using the additional colour modes for title screens, adding additional audio via the SNES. In NA it was released on the same day as the SGB... along with Tetris 2? It was the one that Nintendo promoted the most with it.
