I don't like using guides. Particularly the first time I play it's always blind so I am bound to miss things. If I liked the game enough to replay then I will somtimes look up what I missed and try for 100% but that's very rare.

I actually bought a SNES first but in the end my Genesis collection was about three times as big just because more of the games seemed to appeal. Though I love a lot of SNES games also.
