Someone just put up a 14" Trinitron monitor in NYC, for $100. I thought about it but I decided it's not really worth pursuing. I've already got a 32" Trinitron TV that looks good and I don't think I would want to pay $100 or more for an RGB monitor unless it was a 20" model.

What drives me insane is that twice now I've seen a good deal for a PVM, contacted the seller, he never gets back to me and next thing I know the price on the listing has jumped up from something reasonable to $500. By now I am pretty sure it's the same guy behind both and he's trying to run some kind of scam. If he's actually got shit to sell and he's going to try to bait and switch people into paying the eBay price, he has no-one to blame but himself if no-one buys.
