I wanted to post Met (the helmet guy) from Mega Man. but I can't find that gif where he transforms from one thing to another, like first he's just standing, then he's riding a bulldozer, etc.. anyone have that one?

Lots of games did it right - MegaMan for one - where you have to move the screen quite a bit to have them respawn.

My opinion is that remakes are good and rereleases are shit.

It is also my opinion that there should be a statute of limitations on emulation of sufficiently old games, or games which were never officially ported or translated.

Nintendo is a noted offender in this regard. They seem to think I should never be able to play fucking doctor mario on a nesticle because they might maybe want to put it on virtual consol for a quick few nostalgiabucks.

And Square can go eat a dick for shutting down the Chrono Trigger remake project. Intellectual Property rights be damned if you've got a bunch of fans making a kickass remake of your oldfuck game for free and you, with no plans to produce such a thing, send them a C and D. Go fuck yourselves, you fun-crushers. You should be embarrassed when a bunch of unpaid nerds are managing to create a better product than your filthy stinking rich company is deigning to.
