I'm quite fond of WC2006's look, it was one of the few GBA installments to actually have card artwork during play, instead of just having a black void, of course Sacred Cards and Reshef of Destruction had card art too, and to me they manage to look even better than WC2006 due to it being more zoomed in and therefore bigger, with more detail, but they more closely resemble all of the GBC installments due to not following the OCG/TCG rules and I know that's not for everybody, especially Reshef of Destruction which to me can be bordeline unplayable due to some design decisions. Spellcaster's Judgement was a stellar stucture deck, some of my favorite cards are in there, if I ever go for a full playthrough of WC2006 it's definitely the deck I'm choosing at the start, I feel like after I'm done with Eternal Duelist Soul I might take a break, but WC2006 is definitely in my backlog, especially since it has a system I'm familiar with, with the tiers and all, just a shame that instead of the tiers having characters from GX it actually has monsters, as if you're dueling them, but that's fine.

I've been getting back into my Dark Duel Stories save, in hopes of finally beating it, and it's been quite interesting, in a way it reminded me of why I played this so much, but it also reminded me of why I haven't beaten it yet. I adore so many things about it, but if there's one thing I can't stand, and that is causing me the most trouble now in the last tier (Seto, Ishizu, Heishin and Simon) before the final boss (DarkNite) is that drop rates for useful cards are too low and it's the only way you can get them. I didn't have much trouble with Heishin and SImon since both of them play decks filled with monsters of the same alignment, which makes it simple to counter, but Ishizu and Seto have decks filled with strong cards of many different alignments. I managed to beat Ishizu 5 times, but Seto is quite troublesome, and I'm sure DarkNite, alongside the opponents after him, will be too, and I was planning on grinding against Ishizu, since she actually gives 1800ATK Lv. 4 monsters with drop rates higher than 1/2048 or something, but they're still around 32/2048 or something and grinding against her can take forever because she's quite strong, I also wanted Acid Trap Hole from her, which is also about 32/2048. I still love Dark Duel Stories, but its reminded me of the main flaw with these early installments by Konami, they have too much grinding.

I'm playing Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards for the GBA and it's been a wonderful time, however I'm close to the end on my save, only the final 3 matches of Battle City left, and realized that there were only a few cards missing for me to have at least a single copy of all 900 cards available to purchase on the shop, so I decided that I wanted to go for it before finishing the campaign, since I've never been able to get every single card in a Yu-Gi-Oh! video game before, 100% completion I suppose, and it's something I wish I could do in at least one of them. I have more than enough currency to purchase all cards on the shop, at least one copy of each that is, I just need to make the few missing ones show up, however the ones missing each have a 10/65,536 chance of showing up there after every duel I win, so it's low. I'm planning on spending the night grinding against Mako Tsunami since I can beat him quite consistently, and I don't have anything much better to do. I would just use the passwords to make the cards show up, but it feels like it wouldn't be a legit 100% if I did that, I don't know.
