Here is an example of the kind of bullshit TR3 pulls. 3 square long jump, perfect for a running jump ledge grab right? In every other circumstances, and there are tons of similar ones throughout the series, she would grab that ledge. But here she doesn't, even though her hands literally touch the edge of the platform. Why? Because FUCK YOU that's why.
Instead the intended way is not to grab at all and you'll land on the perfect pixel precise edge of the platform, which by all means seemed impossible to pull.
This shit is not fun for me, it's bullshit for the sake of bullshit; and I didn't get that "autopilot" feel even by the end of TR2 I was thinking how much I enjoyed it the way it was

Just an example, there are worse things (at least this one doesn't lead to death) but this one makes you question whether there is something wrong with the game or what
