You're going to be disappointed when you learn that CRT's don't have an HDMI port and therefore can't play PSTV or Super Nintendo Mini. Just buy a modern TV, PS3 was made for 1080p

It depends a lot on which games you play the most and how often you see yourself playing them... Cartridge games take up next to no space, so if you have only like ten PS2 games and a full SNES set you won't need as much as if you play primarily stuff like GameCube, PS2, Dreamcast, etc. which requires a lot more space. I think this a fantastic idea btw OP, especially on the TV

Do you have a smart TV or streaming device? GBA is extremely easy to emulate. For N64 you could either do the same or just buy the Banjo remakes on Xbox Live that have a few extra features anyway, like functional Stop n Swop

CRT's are a meme, just use a smart TV and turn it into an emulation powerhouse

Nvidia Shield is supposed to be really good if you want to run those higher end (sixth gen) consoles. There's also the Beelink GT King/Pro for around the same price. For lower end consoles you could also just buy a TV with Android or Fire TV built in and get RetroArch running in no time, no box necessary. I did this downstairs and it works great.
