Not at all, I own an Amiga 1080 and play games at my desk and it's maximum comfy. The scanlines are a perfect balance between too dark and too light. These monitors were made for similar 240p content, so there's no reason not to take advantage. My Amiga is lucky enough to have RGB via a DB9 port so don't think you'll have to sacrifice quality with those common Commodore TVs that only go up to S-Video.

Amiga 1080 owner here. It has an RGB input in the form of a 10 Pin D-Sub. I was thinking instead of making cables for every console I want, would it be easier to just make a D-Sub 10 to RGB Scart adapter, then just purchase the SCART cables for each console I need? Would only be hooking up SNES, Genny, and Saturn probably.

I'm also still on the hunt for some Saturn S-Video cables for my trinitron. Now I found these.

They look well shielded, but they're also from Hong Kong. Do you guys think it's worth waiting a month for? Would I be better off requesting a custom made one by retrogameaccessories or someone like that?
