Yeah, I actually like the "cliché badass meant for american audiance character" better though, even though you're right that it looks out of place because it's too big.

Speaking of differences between versions : for fans of Shadow Of The Ninja (aka Blue Shadow in Europe), the Jap version (called Kage) has different enemy placement.

Also in Batman some musics got swaps between stages.
