this thread is the perfect example of why /vr/ is a cesspool of vile garbage, seeping into a hole that never sees daylight or feels the air

the rules of what it or isn't acceptable or normal here are so rareified that I don't even know them, I wouldn't be able to describe them to anyone else

there's some aspects of life where it might make sense to choose what is best, and eschew the commonplace, but we are talking about fucking video games, with just a few thousand lines of code, and some big ass ghetto pixel graphics

and I see arguments about monitors, emulators, controllers, tvs, computers

what the actual fuck is wrong with you people

the impression I'm constantly left with is that all of you are very young, and are looking for some meaning or purpose to what you do, but there is none, not in this

I sold all of my old console stuff, atari 2600, tandy, apple 2, nes, snes, ps1, fucking decades ago. I would never even consider digging that shit up again, or buying it again. I have a modern computer which can perfectly replicate all that crap without any difficulties at all

Surprised this hasn't been posted. Capcom had Yusuke Murata do this calendar spread. He's the manga artist who did Eyeshield 21, Donten Prism Solar Car, and One-punch Man. He's also the guy who was the kid who won the design contests for MM 4 and 5. He designed Dust Man and Crystal Man when he was still in elementary school.
