This idea that the Amiga is somehow at odds with the Mega Drive is a false dichotomy, in fact the Mega Drive and Amiga complement each other very well, with the Mega Drive's excellent Japanese titles, games from renowned developers such as Konami, Treasure, Namco, and dozens of excellent shooters, complementing well the Amiga's excellent selection of strategy, RPG, and point and click adventure games, production houses such as Psygnosis, MicroProse, and Gremlin. The Mega Drive and Amiga had many cross platform shared games such as Mega Turrican, Leander, Another World, Worms, Dune, the list goes on, and any real appreciation of either the Mega Drive or the Amiga will, by necessity, require appreciation of the other due to this.
The ONLY people holding such an inexplicable grudge against the Amiga are the tendies, perhaps because they know their 2.68 mhz SNES is outran by the much older Mega Drive AND Amiga, both easily able to do 3D games on stock hardware matching the performance and quality that the SNES needed cheating and expensive FX chips to match.

Absolutely tilted that he has zero explanation for why the shit SNES, despite being 4 years newer, needed an expensive FX chip to do what a stock Amiga was easily capable of doing.

Remember when nintendrones went nuts because they were finally able to cheat into doing this effect from a stock Amiga, using an expensive Super FX chip? I remember.

Didn't see one one in the catalogue.

Post your favourite /vr/ related music. I've been listening to some music from Amiga 500 games. The thing had a brilliant sound engine. Way better than anything Nintendo and Sega ever managed in my opinion.
