Grand or standard edition? I have 0 experience with this game and with Japanese SRPGs in general, but have played a fuckton of games that drew inspiration from them

What are some hidden gems for the original Playstation?

I love this game. I love this game so much.
I can't seem to emulate it successfully, and my official copy stopped working a long time ago.

It had HEXES goddamnit. It had personalisable pokemon. It had factions for multiple playthroughs.

It was superb.

Why is this dead code?
Why haven't fans done unto this game as they have done unto other classic code like Starcontrol 2?

How do I create interest in this title, to keep it alive, and, dare I say it, realise the dream of a Steam release of a cleaned up copy of the code?

It was awesome! I REALLY miss playing this game.

Anyone got the number of an addiction hotline or something? I'm suffering here.

What other tile games have you guys branched off into?

I was really digging HoMM3 until I snapped the learning curved. I think pic related is the best example of a different system but similar style game.

What does /vr/ think of the rare Atlus title, 'Brigandine' for the PS1? It normally goes for up to $100. I have the opportunity to buy a copy for $50. I know I probably won't ever play it because I have a large collection, so I'm hesitant on spending $50 for a brief period of satisfaction. But maybe if you guys have some good things to say about it I'll change my mind. So, anyone have good or bad things to say about it?

another game I looked into in the meantime, I'm not sure if this is a "hidden" gem but it's the only game so far from the "brigandine" franchise as far as I know and it got localized. I'm pretty sure some of you might not know it even though it's Atlus.

I swear I am the only person who liked this game.

Damn shame the update never came stateside.
