I don't know about Crash but I can see why people might prefer the original Spyro to the later ones. 3 is my personal favorite, but they really got away from the simple platforming aspects of the game and went hard into minigames which is not to everyones taste. The art direction def got way better over the games though

Spyro 1-3
>Laid back music
>Fun goofy animated enemies/characters
>Amazing color palettes in each level
>Fast paced enough to not get too boring
>Lighthearted in a way games will never be again

Spyro has been my goto game for when I have a migraine. The music, art direction and laid back gameplay has made it perfect. I'm starting to get bored of the series lately though. What games do you guys play when your head feels like it's caved in?
