I realize no one FUCKING asked, but gonna give my two cents on the X28 after playing with it for a week now:
>if you're on the fence on buying one like I was, just fucking do it. this is my favorite handheld I've owned to date
>seems smaller in person than I was expecting, in a good way
>it's basically the exact same weight as a RG505, yet feels a bit lighter. Suppose that's due to the ergonomics and how it rests in the hands?
>speaking of, the ergonomics are absolutely killer. not too big or too small, doesn't fill my hands too much or too little, it just werks and leaves a great first impression
>screen really is the perfect size for me. speaking as someone who wanted something larger than my 4.7" RP3+, but smaller than my 7" Deck. Get an effective 4.5" display area for 4:3 content, and I think it's really great.
>additionally, the quality of the screen is really awesome and exceeded my already high expectations. The RP3+ screen does have an edge on saturation and brightness, but the saturation and brightness is still excellent here. For comparison to another T618 device, I'd say the brightness is better than the RG505's, although that one still has a slight saturation advantage like the RP3 because OLED. One thing this screen absolutely creams the RP3+ screen on though is clarity, all the little details just pop so much better here.
>plastic has a nice textured feel to it, and smudging/fingerprints is thankfully not a thing here coming off the nightmare that was the black RP2+ (shame because that was a really attractive black). the screen does get annoyingly smudgy, though.
>speakers are fantastic. audio quality is not quite as good as the Deck's, but better than the RP3+'s, RG505's, and Win600's which are already quite great. Front firing and it really throws the audio at you, good bass, and it actually gets louder than the Deck at max volume. If you want a t618 with some bass, this is the one hands down.
